So I normally don’t give you guys a major writing project two weeks in a row, but when I polled you guys, you all pretty said that you’d rather work harder NOW rather than try to do a major writing grade close to the picnic, graduation, and/or clap out, so here we go!

I showed you guys the instructions on how to create the Obituary Diorama (instructions are also in Blackboard). Drop this off and make it pretty – I’ll print this in color for you! πŸ™‚

We started watching the move The Bucket List – this is what our next essay will be over, so please make sure you are watching. Note that I’m not giving you guys any questions – I’d rather you WATCH the movie and focus on the story rather than answering busy work.

Please don’t talk through the movie – that is the worst thing in the world ever. EVER. πŸ˜‰

2/9/2015 – B

Since we finished watching The Bucket List last week, we started pre-writing for our essay tomorrow. Basically, what I did was rewrite the pre-writing that I had for Term 2 – It wasn’t effective, and I don’t like giving out work that doesn’t HELP you, ya’ know?

So, this is a new pre-writing activity. I honestly don’t know how long it will take you guys. You’ll notice that Section 6 is messed up – just skip that one for now. I obviously got distracted and my brain skipped a beat while writing.

Hopefully, this will help you write the actual essay tomorrow!

Shout out to Louis, who got his first tattoo(s) on Friday after our conversation about tattoos in class! Carpe inkum! Gosh, my class is so relevant. πŸ˜‰

2/5/2015 – B

Pretty simple day today – we just watched the movie The Bucket List with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman.
No need to do questions while watching the movie, but if you choose to do so, you can get extra credit (you can do this whenever – not just today/tomorrow).
When we finish tomorrow, I’ll give you some flex time to work on your partner poems.
Remember that progress reports come out on Wednesday – that means anything you want me to grade needs to be given to me on Monday!

Pretty simple day today – we just watched the movie The Bucket List with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman.
No need to do questions while watching the movie, but if you choose to do so, you can get extra credit (you can do this whenever – not just today/tomorrow).
When we finish tomorrow, we will choose the prompt, work on the thesis, and play around with introductions.
All grades for the rest of the term are in BB – don’t get freaked out!
