Ms. Miller went over the Act 4 and 5 reading guide with you guys, and we took our quiz. The password is peach.

After the quiz, I went over the instructions for the Othello Project. A few notes:

  • There are four elements that I will be specifically teaching.
  • We will do all of the projects on paper, but we will be doing the metacognitive parts on the computer. That is what you will turn in to the dropbox in Blackboard.
  • This will be due on February 14th because I WUV YOU GUYS SO MUCH, but if you turn it all in early, you can get some extra credit.
  • I create written instructions and examples of everything, so yes – I HAVE DONE ALL OF THE PROJECTS, TOO. I do all of the work so that I know much time it should approximately take for you.
  • A lesson that I learned: When I wrote my metacognitive part for the pie chart, I did it over Hamlet. It was really hard. The reason is it was so hard is that I haven’t read Hamlet in about twenty years.  I know the basics, but not enough to feel comfortable discussing a pie chart of guilt. IF YOU DON’T KNOW THE STORY OF OTHELLO THIS IS GOING TO BE REALLY HARD FOR YOU. If you have just been copying answers from people and getting by because I am such an awesome teacher (lol!), you may struggle with the metacognitive elements.
