9/8/11

Today in Mrs. Riley’s class, we sneezed about being put on “blast” or being called out. We also watched a few cartoons (which can be found on YouTube) about Strindberg and his imaginary friend, Helium. We watched this to learn about Literary foils. This is because Helium has a complete opposite personality than Strindberg’s, which brings out Strindberg’s personality even more. After watching the cartoons, we did our own character foil. You must choose two charaters who work together but have contrasting personalities. Then put them on the template, explain each of their personalities, defining what a foil is, and explaining why your second character is a foil to your first.   You should use  “____ is ____ that he/she make _____ even ______” for this. If we finished this before class ends, then we were to finish our Open Mind project from yesterday.
