Today, we read The Prologue from The Squire to The Cook. I reminded people that their Anglo-Saxons essay was due today, so most people worked on that during the work time.

We finished the Prologe today! The Parson, The Plowman, The Miller, The Reeve, The Manciple, The Summoner, and The Pardoner.
We finished our Cheat Sheet today – Don’t worry about the Narrator and The Host – Riley will give those to us on Monday.

We continued with The Prologue today – reading about the lawyer, the franklin, the guild, the cook, the shipman, the doctor, and the Wife of Bath.
We had about 40-30 minutes to work on the cheat sheet.
My favorite so far? The Wife of Bath! 🙂

Pull out your Canterbury Tales prologue and let’s get ready to reeeeeaaaaaad!
We read The Yeoman, The Prioress, The Monk, The Friar, The Merchant, and The Clerk today. After we finished reading, we worked on the Canterbury Tales Cheat Sheet.
Just remember to use good time management skills – USE YOUR TIME WISELY!
Also, all of the notes we take in class WILL ACTUALLY HELP YOU WITH THE ASSIGNMENTS LATER ON. I promise. If Riley was going to give you busy work, it would be a worksheet or the questions in the back of the book.
