We started out sneezing today about broken things: broken bones, broken, hearts, broken laws, and broken promises.
Then, we read a story about Lingerie. Don’t get all weirded out – it’s not really about underwear. It’s about carpe diem. Read the story and find the ONE MOST IMPORTANT word in the story.

I reviewed my PB&J cards with everyone today. I even sent you all a picture of them!
We took a group quiz – the wergild quiz. Sadly, no one even asked me what wergild meant! I’ll have to teach that to you tomorrow.
The quiz is open group, open note, open poster. The only thing is that I’m asking you not to do is use the Internet to find your answers. If you don’t like your grade, you can go back and retake it using the internet for full credit. I just want to see what you can do with the material that was used in school.
With the Quote Sort, You need to find the definition of Fate and Free Will. Then, move each quote over to column that you think it fits under. I promise that this is harder than it looks. There are some quotes that will make your brain hurt. This is why I encourage you to talk them out with your table buddies. Just because a quote has the word FATE in it doesn’t mean it belongs in the FATE column.
