We started out the class by brainstorming the following chart:

We then started the Beo-Boast. Instructions and examples are located in LMS. In order tomake sure you have the caesuras down, make sure you use lots of commas, and write the boast in the same style of Beowulf. Don’t write sentences in paragraphs.
Don’t worry about the kennings and the alliteration at first – it’s easier to go back and edit those in.
