At this time, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) has granted only three waiver days due to last week’s flooding. Since the district missed five days, this will mean that two days must be made up. The plan for making up these two days, subject to Board approval on Thursday, April 28, 2016, is as follows:

• Friday, June 3, will be a student instructional day;
• Beginning Monday, May 2, the school day will be extended by 18 instructional minutes, five minutes before school and 13 minutes after school.

If TEA approves the two days, this schedule will be null and void.
