We read “Hills like White Elephants” – Riley read the narrator, Carol read as the girl – “Jig”, and Dean read as the American.

The class was a little lost during the first read through, but after a discussion, we figured it out.

We watched a video based on the story, and for some people, it helped clarify some things, but for others, it just confused them.

Again, we had a discussion and cleared things up.

We ended the day with the OER question over the story regarding selfishness and worked a bit more on the foldable from yesterday.
